Winner will be responsible for postage, and every dollar raised goes directly to Rocky Ridge.
Rocky Ridge do extraordinary work relocating kangaroos who find themselves trapped or displaced because of urban sprawl. This week alone they:
sedated and moved a large male kangaroo from a caravan sales yard on a busy main road
rescued a joey trapped behind locked school gates
saved a beautiful boy caught in wire — sedating him, removing the wire, transporting him with a bobcat, treating his wounds and giving him the care he needs. He’ll heal and be released somewhere safe.
All of this happened while they were preparing to evacuate during the recent bushfires and trying to repair the damage caused by the storm afterwards. Their dedication is extraordinary.
